To Alan Chan, the future is all about human connectivity and sharing.

A bridge is a structure built to span physical obstacles such as body of water, valley, or road, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. Bridges join what is separated, connect places and enable people to reach one another. We are all a bridge to someone, somewhere, sometimes.

Alan’s Bridge installation has been exhibited at OCT Art and Design Gallery in Shenzhen (2011), Hong Kong Contemporary Art Awards at Hong Kong Museum of Art (2012) and Lane Crawford 165 Anniversary Celebrations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Chengdu (2015).

對陳幼堅而言，未來建立於人類的連通及分享。橋是跨越峽谷、山谷、道路、鐵路、河流、其他水域、或其他障礙而建造的結構，用來連接橋頭橋尾兩邊路。它讓人與交通工具等穿過障礙、暢通無阻。

在人生路上，每個人都是一道橋，因著家庭關係、社交與文化的聯繫，人與人之間的關係，從出生一刻已經與這個 ”地球鏈” 千絲萬縷的牽引著。我們通過溝通，不斷與別人建立關係，連綿不止。在某時、某處，與某人的連結。

同名的「橋」裝置藝術先後展出於深圳華美術館（2011年），香港藝術博物館的香港當代藝術獎（2012年）及連卡佛165週年藝術展香港、北京和成都站（2015年）。
