In continuation to this classic design, ALAN CHAN CREATIONS recreates and perpetuates this modest yet modish look in ‘NOW’ timepiece.
‘NOW’ timepiece unveils Chinese calligraphy inspired design with time. The minute hand completes the Chinese numerals as it moves around the dial while the strap depicts calligraphy brushstroke. On the case back, Alan Chan’s name in the form of Chinese seal is imprinted as a sign of endorsement such as that on a Chinese calligraphy work of art. “Time is a continuum, where the only constant is change. 陳幼堅 (ALAN CHAN) 設計作品以獨特的「東情西韻」風格著稱，自 1998 年與日本 SEIKO 精工鐘錶合作推出一款限量的書法時鐘，立即吸引不少粉絲搶購收藏。為了讓經典設計延續，2018 年全新推出 ALAN CHAN CREATIONS 腕錶系列，重現經典復刻版《當下》腕錶 (NOW timepiece) 。
《當下》錶款以中國書法的筆觸與分針作為設計軸心，分針與符號交叉會構成一個完整的中國數字，錶底下則刻著設計師的名字，整體設計極富藝術表現力，將漢字楷書點畫態勢流暢地演繹。陳幼堅闡述時間對他的意義：『時間具有連續性，變化是唯一不變的恆常。我們所知每一個瞬間，每一刻的「現在」，轉眼亦變成「過去」。』
